McMaster has won the last five consecutive OUA titles, while Ohio State has won the last two NCAA national championships. These two titans meet for the first time since December 30, 2016 when a jam-packed Burridge Gym saw the Buckeyes’ make their first visit to Canada.

Marauders Nation cheered on their men to victory that night in a single match ending 3-0 (25-23, 25-16, 32-30).

The Buckeyes are eager to avenge the loss from their last visit with their Canadian rivals and because of the support at Burridge Gym almost a year ago, a second match has been added. The first match goes Saturday October 21st at 7:00 PM and the second the next day at 2:00 PM.

This will be the sixth match of the rivalry that started back in 2014 when the Marauders made the trip to Columbus. McMaster holds a slight edge in the head-to-head match-up against the Buckeyes, winning three of the previous five matches the teams have played.
