It’s Thanksgiving and one NFL coach is thankful he still has a job, but that could all change as Jason Garrett’s seat is the hottest it has ever been.

Garrett and the Dallas Cowboys will take on the Buffalo Bills in a Thanksgiving Day matchup.

The ‘Boys head coach, who is in the final year of his contract, reportedly needs a deep run into the post season this year to earn another deal from the team.

This comes just a day after team owner Jerry Jones implied that if the Cowboys did not “come in first,” Garrett would be looking for a new club to work with.

This past week, Dallas lost to the New England Patriots. With the loss, the rival Philadelphia Eagles now trail the Cowboys by just a game in the NFC East.

Thursday’ game won’t be an easy one against a surging Bills team, but it is also compounded by the Cowboys’ inability to beat a winning team.
