Flores Plays Jay-Z Songs At Practice
Kenny Still has been criticizing Jay-Z for his partnership with the NFL. But, on Tuesday, Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores appeared to troll his receiver by putting on eight straight songs by the rapper at practice.

The playlist included songs like “Show Me What You Got”, “Run This Town”, “On To The Next One”, “No Church in the Wild” and “99 Problems”.

Flores did tell Stills of his plans beforehand, but it is not known how he reacted.

The head coach is a native of New York and grew up listening to Jay-Z so it probably wasn’t a total troll job.Jay-Z’s Roc Nation entered into a partnership with the NFL last week on an entertainment and social justice venture.

Marner Could Head To Zurich
Mitch Marner’s camp has had talks with the Zurich Lions of the National League in Switzerland.

Marner remains without a contract with an NHL club for the upcoming season and the young star has state that he “probably” wouldn’t attend the team’s training camp without a new deal in place.

Kyle Dubas, the Maple Leafs’ GM, has said that talks have been positive with the 22-year old’s agent at meetings last week but still no deal has been inked.

If Marner does go over to Switzerland to play the maximum salary he could get is 450,000 Swiss francs which works out to be about $460,200. He is coming off a big season where he recorded a career-high 94 points and is one of the largest free agents in a deep class with other waiting for him to set the market so others could sign.

Rousey Injured On ‘9-1-1’ Set
Former UFC and WWE champion Ronda Rousey was involved in a “freak accident” while filming on the set of the FOX drama “9-1-1.”

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Rousey stated that a boar door fell on her head which nearly severed her finger from her hand. Remarkably, she was able to finish her scene before she realized how serious the injury was. Thankfully it was just one take.

"I thought I just jammed my fingers so I finished the take before looking. (I know it sounds crazy, but I'm used to live audiences and never showing pain unless I'm supposed to.) After a break in the action I told our director the situation and was rushed via ambulance to the hospital where they promptly reattached my bone and tendon with a plate and screws," she wrote.

You can view the picture by clicking here but be forewarned that it is NSFW or anybody that faints easily.

Looking at it I don’t know how she didn’t know how serious it truly was.

Rousey returned to set the next day to continue shooting after her finger was reattached.

Currently, Rousey is on a hiatus from the WWE in order to start a family with her husband former UFC heavyweight fighter Travis Browne.

Lue Joins Clippers’ Coaching Staff
Former Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue has a deal in place to become the top assistant coach on Doc Rivers’ Los Angeles Clippers coaching staff.

Earlier this summer it appeared that Lue was nearing a deal with the Los Angeles Lakers as their head coach before talks turned sour over contract details. That lead the Lakers to hiring former Indiana Pacers head coach Frank Vogel instead.

Lue spent three seasons as an assistant under Rivers when they were both with the Boston Celtics (2011-130 and Clippers (2013-14). He then joined the Cavaliers as their lead assistant in 2014 under David Blatt before taking over as the team’s head coach part way through the following season. Lue was fired by the Cavaliers after not producing a win to start the 2018-19 season.

With the Clippers picking up Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in free agency, adding one of the most respected coaches that was available will just add another to one of the deepest teams in the Association and help make them an even more favoured team to take the title this coming season.
