Will Smith’s life got flipped, tuned upside down on Sunday night.

The San Francisco Giants closer hit a two-run single in his first career at-bat and then closed it down in the top of the ninth to help his ball club beat the Philadelphia Phillies 9-6.

Smith worked his way into a 3-1 count before smacking a single into right field, scoring both Kevin Pillar and Brandon Crawford. He laughed the entire way to first base.

He laughed for Brandon Belt’s entire plate appearance, where he got his second walk of the game. He probably even laughed for the entirety of the rest of the game.

This will likely be a moment that Giants fans remember for their rest of their lives.

It will be a moment that Smith talks about the rest of his life, and probably will exaggerate a bit more every time he tells the story.
