Maruice Allen has made history in Niagara Falls.

The 2018 World Long Drive champion became the first person to successfully hit a golf ball over Niagara Falls, something that PGA Tour golfer John Daly tried and failed to do in 2005.

Allen did it from the exact same location as Daly’s attempt, driving the ball on his fourth attempt over 340 yards through the thick fog from the Canadians side of the falls to the American side.

Allen holds the Guinness World Record for fastest golf ball speed at 211 mph, according to Krank Golf who is his driver provider. His longest drive in any competition was 459 yards.
