The victory came at the expense of the Chicago White Sox by a score of 11-2 behind another outstanding performance by Corey Kluber.

Cleveland also belted five homers while becoming the first major league team with a 15-game winning streak since the Oakland Athletics won 20 in a row in 2002. Four different players hit home runs which included Edwin Encarnacion, Francisco Lindor, Greg Allen and Erick Gonzalez who hit a pair of dingers.

Kluber picked up his 15th win of the season by striking out 13 over seven innings. He would only allow three hits in the game with two of them being home runs off the bats of Yolmer Sanchez and Jose Abreu. The only other hit he allowed was a single in the fifth by Omar Narvaez.

Next up for the tribe is a ten-game home stand which starts with the Baltimore Orioles on Friday night. If they get through the Orioles without losing then Cleveland will have a good chance at matching and besting Oakland’s 20-game winning streak from 15 years ago.
