Practice?  Practice?  Yes, we are talking about practice!

The Minnesota Timberwolves have cancelled Thursday’s practice and no members of the team will be available to the media.

The move comes just a day after a displeased Jimmy Butler returned to the team to join them for practice and then went off on several members of the T-Wolves. It is reported that Butler verbally attacked Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins and head coach Tom Thibodeau during a scrimmage.

Later in the day Butler spoke to ESPN about his trade demands and his emotional outburst.

Recently, Thibodeau commented that Minnesota’s preseason schedule had limited the time the team could practice before it opens the season against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday.

The T-Wolves will play their final preseason game Friday night against the Milwaukee Bucks.

While it looked like Butler was going to be in the lineup on opening night, Wednesday’s outburst makes it a lot harder to imagine him even putting on the Timberwolves jersey again.
