The San Jose Sharks are in the midst of an all-California duck hunt during the first round of the NHL playoffs.

While you don’t really think of the Sharks and Anaheim Ducks being a hockey rivalry, you might need to rethink that.

Last night the Sharks hosted game three of their series with Anaheim, going into it leading the series two games to none. Prior to the game, the fans at the Shark Tank were treated to a Duck Hunt themed opening that was sure to please retro gamers.

But it didn’t start or stop there. Even their street party included rubber ducks being munched on by shark heads. Also, fans were welcomed with Duck Hunt themed rally towels at their seats.

They’re not joking around in San Jose, and let’s be real, a shark would totally win a fight against duck in real life.

So far in the series, the Sharks have been in full control and took a commanding three game to none lead with an 8-1 victory on Monday. I guess you can say there is blood in the water and San Jose is ready to finish it off on Wednesday night.
